أعلنت كل من “سانديسك SanDisk” و “توشيبا Toshiba” عن أصغر شريحة ذاكرة فلاش تخزينية

مساحتها أصغر من مساحة قطعة معدنية وسيتم استخدامها في عدد من الهواتف الذكية

أعلنت كل من “سانديسك SanDisk” و “توشيبا Toshiba” عن أصغر شريحة ذاكرة تخزينية من نوع ناند فلاش NAND Flash والتي تستخدم في الهواتف النقالة يمكن أن تتسع لـ 16 غيغابايت من البيانات على سطح حجمه أصغر من حجم قطعة نقدية معدنية.

وتستخدم الشريحة التي تبلغ مساحتها 170 ميليمتر مربع دوائر بقياس 19 نانومتر كانت “سانديسك” قد بدأت باختبارها العام الماضي، وتتضمن أيضاً تقنية “إكس 3″ التي تسمح لثلاثة “بيتات” من البيانات أن تُكتب على كل خلية. وتقول الشركة بأن الشريحة تستطيع الكتابة بسرعة 18 ميغابايت في الثانية.

وقالت الشركة بأنه سيتم استخدام هذه الشرائح التخزينية ضمن مجموعة من الهواتف الذكية التي سيتم إصدارها هذا العام (دون أن تحددها) وذكرت بأنها تعمل على تطوير نسخة بسعة 64 غيغابايت كي تُستخدم في بطاقات MicroSD أيضاً.
